About Us
Packaging With Purpose
Seattle Boxes is a sustainable packaging company dedicated to extending the life of corrugated boxes. We buy, sell, recycle, and transport used boxes — keeping perfectly good packaging out of landfills and putting it back to work.
Who We Are
More Than a Box Company
Seattle Boxes operates at the intersection of logistics and sustainability. Every day, thousands of high-quality corrugated boxes are discarded after a single use — boxes that still have plenty of life left. We intercept that waste stream and give those boxes a second, third, or even fourth purpose.
From our facility at 7010 S 188th St in Kent, WA, we serve businesses of every size: e-commerce sellers who need affordable shipping supplies, warehouses looking to offload surplus packaging, manufacturers seeking sustainable alternatives, and logistics companies that want to reduce their environmental footprint without sacrificing quality.
Our team inspects, sorts, and grades every box that passes through our hands. When you buy from Seattle Boxes, you get packaging that performs — at a fraction of the cost and environmental impact of buying new.

What Drives Us
Mission, Vision & Values
Our Mission
Make used boxes the first choice, not the last resort. We believe that the most sustainable box is the one that already exists. By building the infrastructure to collect, grade, and redistribute used corrugated packaging, we make it easy for businesses to choose the responsible option — and save money doing it.
Our Vision
A packaging economy where no usable box is ever destroyed. Where businesses see surplus boxes as assets, not waste. Where the environmental cost of packaging shrinks every year because the industry finally embraces what we have always known: the best box is the one that is already made. We envision a future where reuse is the industry standard, not the exception.
Our Promise
Every box we rescue from a landfill represents trees that stay rooted, water that stays clean, and energy that stays conserved. We promise to inspect every box thoroughly, price every order fairly, deliver on our commitments, and never sacrifice environmental principles for short-term profit. That is the math that drives us every single day.
Waste Is a Choice
We believe most packaging waste is unnecessary. A box does not become trash after one trip — that is a decision, and we offer a better one. Our entire operation is built around the principle that reuse should always come before recycling, and recycling should always come before disposal.
Quality Without Compromise
Used does not mean inferior. We inspect and grade every box to ensure it meets performance standards. Our three-tier grading system (Prime, Standard, Economy) means customers know exactly what they are getting. Our reputation depends on the quality of what we sell.
Transparency First
Clear grading, honest pricing, upfront terms. We never oversell or misrepresent the condition of our inventory. What you see is what you get. Every quote includes full details on box grade, quantity, dimensions, and delivery terms.
Business Should Do Good
Profitability and sustainability are not at odds. We prove every day that doing right by the planet is also the smart financial move for businesses. When your packaging costs drop by 50% and your waste stream shrinks, that is a win that compounds.
Our People
Team Philosophy
Our team is a mix of logistics veterans, sustainability advocates, and hands-on warehouse professionals. What unites everyone at Seattle Boxes is a genuine belief that what we do matters. You will not find anyone here going through the motions.
From the inspectors who check every box for structural integrity to the drivers who plan efficient pickup routes to reduce fuel consumption, every role at Seattle Boxes is connected to the mission. We hire people who see a stack of used boxes and see potential, not waste.
We also believe in growing with our team. Cross-training is standard, and team members regularly rotate between departments to understand the full lifecycle of how we operate. It makes us better — and it keeps work interesting.
Safety is non-negotiable. Our warehouse operations follow strict protocols for lifting, stacking, and equipment operation. Every team member is trained in ergonomic handling practices, and we invest in equipment that reduces physical strain. A healthy team is a productive team.

What We Do
Four Services, One Goal
We offer a complete lifecycle solution for corrugated packaging. Whether you have boxes to get rid of or boxes to find, we have you covered.
Buy Used Boxes
Access our inventory of inspected and graded used corrugated boxes and gaylord boxes. Every box meets our quality standards and ships at 40-60% less than new. From small shippers to large RSC and HSC sizes, we stock what businesses actually need.
Sell Your Surplus
Turn your used boxes into revenue instead of waste disposal costs. We purchase surplus corrugated packaging from warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturers, and retail operations. Bulk pickups available across the greater Seattle area.
Recycle Responsibly
When a box has truly reached the end of its useful life, we ensure it enters the recycling stream properly. Our recycling program handles boxes that can no longer be resold, keeping corrugated fiber in the circular economy rather than buried in a landfill.
Transport & Logistics
We handle the heavy lifting. Our transportation services cover pickup and delivery of used boxes throughout the region. Scheduled routes, on-demand pickups, and bulk freight — we move boxes so you do not have to.

Green Is Not a Buzzword for Us
Sustainability is not a department at Seattle Boxes — it is the entire business model. Every transaction we facilitate directly reduces the demand for virgin packaging materials.
3,400+
Trees Preserved
Each ton of reused corrugated saves roughly 17 trees. Our annual volume translates to thousands of trees left standing in forests where they belong.
7M+
Gallons of Water Saved
Manufacturing new corrugated uses enormous quantities of water. Every box we reuse bypasses that water-intensive production process entirely.
1.2M+
kWh of Energy Conserved
Pulping, pressing, and forming new boxes requires significant energy. Reuse skips all of that, dramatically cutting carbon emissions from packaging.

Giving Back
Community Involvement
We believe in being a good neighbor. Seattle Boxes regularly donates boxes to local nonprofits, food banks, and community organizations that need packaging for their operations but cannot justify the cost of buying new.
Our education outreach program partners with local schools and business groups to teach the principles of circular economy and sustainable supply chain management. We host facility tours for student groups and provide materials for classroom projects on recycling and environmental stewardship.
During the annual Seattle community cleanup events, our team and trucks are deployed to help collect and properly dispose of corrugated waste from neighborhoods and commercial districts. We see it as part of our responsibility to the region that supports our business.
